First off let me start by saying Thank You to Laura Seeber and Blackthorn Book Tours for reaching out to me and allowing me to read and review these stories.
In this book there is a collection of thirteen individual stories written by master storytellers from around the world. They all have a simple theme in common: The Moon.
This book or collection of stories is unlike anything I've read before. I would say the writing style is more along the lines of Young Adult but it doesn't take away from the stories at all. While the stories themselves were well written and easy to follow unfortunately it just wasn't for me. I wasn't able to build a connection with any of the characters or feel like I could see myself in the situation.
I will say that I applaud the writers for their creativity in writing stories centering around the moon and how it affects us. This story would be a great read for a dark stormy night!
Even though this book was not for me I still highly encourage you to grab a copy for yourself and check it out. What doesn't work for me just might work for you!
My final rating for Moonlit Dreams Moonlit Nightmares is 2.5 stars.
Much Love and Happy Reading
Clarkie
